Made from 440C stainless steel, this skinning blade has been cryogenically tempered at -305F, removing austenite from the 440 Stainless Steel, improving its strength and edge holding ability.
- Made from 440C stainless steel, and cryogenically tempered with liquid nitrogen at -305F, slightly hardening the steel and greatly enhancing its edge holding ability
- Hollow ground guthook blade is polished to a mirror finish
- Overall length is 9", blade is 4-1/8", tang is 4-1/2" long, 1-1/4" wide, and 5/32" thick
- Contoured tang features a finger grip, three holes for 3/16" pins, two holes for 3/32" bolster pins, and a 1/4" lanyard hole. Guthook is 3/8" wide
- Heat treated to 58 HRC
